The Grove Academy celebrated Children’s Week on 24th-28th October!
We celebrated the right of children to enjoy childhood with lots of fun, messy and silly activities!
The children participated in lots of cooking and craft experiences!
We also had some themed days chosen by the children such as art explosion day, party day, crazy day, beach day and Masterchef day!
To finish off a fantastic Children’s Week, The Grove Academy celebrated a Day for Daniel!
The children were encouraged to come dressed in red and bring a gold coin donation to help educate children about safety and support young victims of crime.
We also had a visit from Constable Mary who spoke with the children about safe places, people we can trust and what to do if you feel unsafe or unsure.
