Our Speech Pathology team has expanded! We’re thrilled to introduce Nadia who will be working alongside our resident Speech Pathologist, Sarah Nash.
Nadia graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from USYD in 2016 and has been working as a paediatric speech pathologist since 2017. She loves being able to support children and their families in multiple aspects, whether it be improving communication, applying for additional funding supports, or being a consistent form of support through their journey.
“I acknowledges how important being able to communicate is, so it’s very important to me that I’m able find a way to support every child’s ability to communicate I love seeing the functional impact that my role can have on kids’ lives e.g. making friends, having their first conversation, making their first request or even engaging in an activity with a friend or family member.”
“I love the dynamic setting of working at The Grove Academy, being able to engage with children in such a functional setting. The ability to be able to liaise with educators is fantastic as it provides me with a holistic understanding of a child that is otherwise difficult to obtain in a traditional clinical setting. The lively atmosphere always makes working here a really enjoyable experience.”
