Over the weekend, we opened the doors to The Grove Academy Wilton for our first Open Day, welcoming local families to explore our new centre, meet the team and get to know some of the people who will soon become part of the Wilton community.

It was a lovely afternoon filled with plenty of smiles, laughter and things to see and do. Families had the chance to explore our spaces, meet their new neighbours and enjoy some of the activities we had planned for the day.

We were also lucky to have so many wonderful local businesses and community groups join us and help make the afternoon special for our families and children.

From the team at Douglas Park Wilton Athletics Club firing up the BBQ, to Wilton Rural Fire Service bringing along their fire truck, there was plenty happening throughout the afternoon. Families could also enjoy face painting, balloon twisting, reptiles and more.

We’re so grateful to everyone who gave their time and helped make the day such a memorable one.

Most of all, thank you to all the local families who came along. It was wonderful to open our doors, meet our new neighbours and begin building connections within the Wilton community.

We’re so excited to be part of this growing community and can’t wait to see what comes next.
