As part of our School Readiness Education Program, our School Readiness learners will take part in monthly STEM sessions, through our partnership with Ranger Jamie, that encourage children to explore, experiment, ask questions and discover how things work.
From launching rockets and racing billy carts to creating gooey slime and investigating exciting science experiments, each session gives children the opportunity to get hands-on with STEM concepts in ways that are engaging, playful and age-appropriate.
Learning Through Curiosity and Experimentation
STEM learning in the early years isn’t just about science and technology. It’s about encouraging children to be curious, try new things and feel confident exploring their ideas.
Through these experiences, our learners are developing skills such as curiosity, problem-solving, creativity, communication, collaboration, confidence and resilience.
